Are you new to native plant gardening or looking to deepen your knowledge of native plants? Join staff from the Library of North Carolina’s Government and Heritage Library and the NC Museum of Natural Sciences for a Native Plant Walk and Planting Workshop on April 11 from 10 am to noon.

Lauri Lawson, horticulturalist and native plant expert, will lead a tour of the native plant gardens at North Carolina Department of Natural and Cultural Resources sites on East Jones Street, including the DNCR building and the North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences.

This event will primarily take place outdoors, with participants traveling approximately ½ mile round-trip via paved sidewalks. Registration is requested.

This event is hosted in connection with the GHL's Native Plant Seed Library. Learn more about our seed library at slnc.info/seeds.
