DESCRIPTION
Durham County Library is seeking a part-time Office Assistant for our Small Business Center (SBC) at the Main Library. The Office Assistant will assist with business, entrepreneurship, and workforce development related services and programming for all ages.
The person in this position will solely work evening and weekend hours. This position is part-time, 50% FTE, works approximately 18.75 hrs per week, and is eligible for pro-rated benefits.
Although this position is based at the Main Library, the selected candidate may be asked to work at other locations, and offsite as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
High School Graduation or GED equivalent
One (1) year of customer service, clerical support or related experience preferred
Knowledge of and/or interest in business and entrepreneurship topics and programs
Knowledge of the Durham business community and news
Experience working in professional environments
Knowledge of library services and related programs and events
SALARY
$19.22 - $19.75 per hour
