Description: The Digital Media Commons and Makerspace Department Manager provides strategic leadership for the vision, development, and operations of the department by guiding the growth of programs, services, facilities, technologies, and training in collaboration with DMC staff, library leadership, and campus partners. The Manager oversees all aspects of departmental operations; develops and implements departmental policies and procedures in collaboration with DMC staff and library leadership; and supervises full-time and temporary department personnel, ensuring the successful implementation of departmental policies and procedures and high-quality administration of programs and services. The hours for this position are Monday – Friday 8 am – 5 pm, with occasional night and weekend hours based on departmental need.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree and one year of experience in the area of assignment, of which at least one is supervisory or in a lead-worker capacity; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.
Salary: $51,285 – $64,000
