Description: Reporting to the Assistant Director for Public Services, the Head of the TRC leads a team providing outstanding service to ECU students, faculty, staff, and the community. The Head of the TRC is responsible for the development of the department collections; oversight of public and technical services; staff supervision, consisting of one faculty librarian and two fulltime support staff members; facilities planning; education reference and bibliographic instruction; campus and community outreach; acting as a liaison with the College of Education; participating in appropriate library, university, and professional committees. This is a 12-month faculty position. Employment is contingent upon availability of funds.
Qualifications: Master’s degree in library or information science from an ALA-accredited institution or international equivalent. Three years of library experience, including public service responsibilities. Supervisory experience. Demonstrated knowledge of education resources and curricula.
