Position Description: The University of North Carolina Wilmington Library seeks an Information Literacy Librarian to promote information literacy knowledge and skills by developing information literacy instructional materials; engaging with faculty, staff, and students in New Student Seminar, English Composition, and the Honors College; and providing training on information literacy concepts to library and UNCW faculty and staff. This is an 11-month (July-May) renewable non-tenure track special faculty position reporting to the Associate Director of Academic & Research Engagement.

Qualifications: Demonstrated knowledge of core and emerging practices, standards, and trends in information literacy in an academic environment. Ability to learn, and/or experience with, the creation of asynchronous online learning objects using appropriate instructional technologies. Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a team environment with a diverse population of faculty, staff, students, and colleagues. Effective interpersonal, oral, written, and virtual communication skills using a variety of media and technologies.
Salary Range: $59,000 - $63,000.
