Description: This position provides professional librarian services through the Bookmobile at Boone Trail Headquarters, including planning and delivering library programs; coordinating outreach initiatives and special events; developing and maintaining community partnerships; creating and managing the Bookmobile route schedule; supervising and training staff and volunteers; managing the selection and maintenance of library materials and supplies; maintaining program records; and evaluating library collection resources.
Qualifications: Master’s degree in library science from an ALA Accredited graduate school. North Carolina Public Library Certification within one year of employment. One (1) year of bookmobile experience preferred. One (1) year of supervisory experience preferred. Has or is willing to obtain a Notary Public Certification within one year. Possession of a valid North Carolina driver’s license. Applicants with a combination of relevant education and work experience will be considered.
Salary: $54,217.00
