DESCRIPTION
We’re excited to announce an opening for the next Branch Manager of the South Buncombe/Skyland Library, located at 260 Overlook Rd. The Skyland Library is one of the busiest branches in our system, serving a rapidly growing community on the south side of Buncombe County.
The Branch Manager oversees the daily operations of the library and provides leadership and support for a team of 3 full-time and 2 part-time staff members. This position reports directly to the Branch Services Manager. Additional responsibilities include: Leading all adult collection development and programming; Serving as the library’s liaison to the Friends of the South Buncombe Library; Participating as a member of Buncombe County Public Library’s Management Team
QUALIFICATIONS
Master’s degree in library science, information sciences, or a related field and three (3) years of experience as a Library Specialist or Librarian; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
SALARY
$71,604.23 - $89,400.89 / ANNUALLY
