DESCRIPTION
The Office of Library Development is responsible for establishing the strategic direction and tactical implementation of all activities in support of fundraising. Including principal, major, annual, planned, and institutional giving, as well as special events, gift reporting, gift acknowledgement, stewardship, donor relations, and development communications. Also manages the activities of the Friends of the Library Board of Directors.
The Development Coordinator should be organized, collaborative, and highly motivated and would like to contribute to the growing Friends of the Library program at Carolina. Provide full-time support for the goals and objectives of the University Library Development Department. Responsible for managing administrative operations including processing gifts, maintaining donor records, assisting in planning and implementation of events, data management, and providing project support for annual giving and donor relations activities. Will serve as primary liaison to the University Development Office regarding gift processing, gift/pledge corrections and constituent records in the donor database.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in business administration or related discipline; or equivalent combination of training and experience. Degrees must be received from accredited institutions.
- Familiarity with Customer Relationship Management Systems
- Experience in donor relations and stewardship in higher education
- Manage multiple tasks under deadlines
- Track record of delivering high-stakes events
- Office 365 - Excel and Word
