Description: The Library Program Specialist - Bookmobile plans and executes programming for children, teens, and adults; assists in promoting library services, programs, and resources through creative displays, marketing, and social media; drives the bookmobile in a rural setting; loads books and other materials on the bookmobile; and assists in cultivating community partnerships and coordinating outreach and community engagement opportunities. The Library Program Specialist also performs library circulation tasks and provides reference and general patron services.
Qualifications: High school diploma. No experience required but some work or volunteer experience in a library or a bookmobile setting preferred. Possession of a valid North Carolina driver's license. Willing to obtain a Notary Public Certification within one year.
