Position Description: Wake Forest University School of Medicine’s Coy C. Carpenter Library, part of the Advocate Health system, is recruiting a Resource Management & Systems Librarian to join its growing team. This hybrid position combines on-site and remote work and supports the education, research, and clinical missions of the Advocate Health enterprise.
The Resource Management & Systems Librarian provides expertise in the stewardship and optimization of the library’s electronic resources, collections, acquisitions, and core systems.
This role requires independent judgment and technical expertise in electronic resource lifecycle management, collection assessment, acquisitions, authentication and access systems, and vendor and consortial relationships, ensuring reliable access to digital scholarly content and to strengthening discovery and delivery services that support the institution’s academic, clinical, and research missions.

Qualifications:
- Advanced knowledge of resource management, acquisitions, and collection assessment
- Strong understanding of scholarly medical and clinical resources, including databases, e‑journals and e‑books.
- Experience working with integrated library systems and discovery platforms (e.g., Alma, Primo, LibKey)
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with institutional IT, information security, procurement, legal partners, vendors, and consortial groups.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret usage, licensing, and financial data.
- Ability to manage multiple complex workflows and priorities independently.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and collaboration skills.
- Strong attention to detail and compliance awareness.
Salary: $30.70 - $46.05
