DESCRIPTION
The Student Success Librarian supports the Libraries' mission to empower students for a lifetime of success and impact. As a member of the Teaching, Learning, and Outreach team within LSS, the position will work collaboratively with library colleagues and campus partners to develop and deliver outreach, programming, and instruction that connect undergraduate students with the Libraries' people, services, spaces, and expertise. They will lead the Libraries’ engagement with university programs and events that recruit, welcome, orient, and support students, including New Student Orientation, Wolfpack Welcome Week, and open houses, and they will coordinate the Libraries’ Personal Library Program. They will contribute to the Libraries’ instruction program by teaching library instruction sessions for undergraduate courses, and also serve as an Ask Us Service Manager. Through these efforts, the position will help students develop the information and digital literacies, critical thinking skills, confidence, and sense of belonging needed to succeed academically.
QUALIFICATIONS
ALA-accredited MLS, MIS, or equivalent advanced degree
SALARY
$69,000 minimum
