DESCRIPTION
Braswell Memorial Public Library is seeking a dynamic, innovative, and community-focused Youth Services Manager to lead and expand engaging library services for children, teens, and families in the Rocky Mount, North Carolina area. Under the general direction of the Library Director, the Youth Services Manager performs professional, administrative, and supervisory work in planning, implementing, and managing comprehensive programs designed to inspire literacy, learning, and community connection.
QUALIFICATIONS
Master’s degree in Library Science (MLIS/MLS) from an American Library Association accredited institution. Must be able to receive a North Carolina Public Librarian Certification. Three years of progressively responsible public library experience, including experience in Youth Services, and at least one year of supervisory or leadership experience.
SALARY
$42,000 / ANNUALLY
